The ‘Selfie with Daughter’ campaign completed a decade on Monday, marking a significant milestone in the journey towards gender equality. To commemorate the occasion, a state-level function was held at Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, where the campaign’s 10-year impact was discussed in detail. Participants from Haryana and several other states shared their inspiring experiences, highlighting how the initiative not only transformed their personal perspectives but also helped shift societal attitudes towards celebrating daughters and challenging deep-rooted gender bias.
