The president of the Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC), Kumari Selja, has written to Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on clashing of recruitment exam dates.

A youth delegation had met the HPCC president and submitted a memorandum regarding the change of date for the Haryana Staff Selection Commission’s (HSSC) Sub-Inspector examination.

In the letter, she stated that owing to Covid, government recruitments had been stalled for the past year. “Now that examinations for government jobs are being conducted, the youth of Haryana is facing a big problem as many examinations are being conducted on the same day,” she added.

Selja said the HSSC’s Sub-Inspector examination and Indian Territorial Army Officer were scheduled on the same date, September 26. Other central examinations such as SSC JE, HPSC Dental Surgeon, BARC and DSSSB were also being conducted on the same date.

Selja said clashing of examination dates had put thousands of youth, who have applied for multiple examinations, in a fix.
