The Kurukshetra police arrested seven farmers for burning paddy stubble in the district. Later, they were released on bail.

As per the Kurukshetra police spokesman, following the complaints received from the Agriculture Department against the farmers who had burnt the paddy stubble despite the ban, cases were registered and the offenders arrested. They were released on bail.
Of seven cases, two each were registered at Babain, Shahabad and Ismailabad police stations, while one at Ladwa police station in Kurukshetra.
