Sewer line blocked

The sewer line in New Uttam Nagar falling under ward no. 18 has been blocked for the last six months. The blockage has resulted in inconvenience to people as they are suffering due to the foul smell. We also filed a complaint on the CM window but there is no solution to the problem as officials of the Public Health Engineering Department are ignoring our pleas. The residents are upset due to the attitude of the officials. — Surender Ranga, Bhiwani

Lights missing at Gita Dwar

I am a daily reader of The Tribune and I want to highlight the issue of missing lights from the newly constructed Gita Dwar at the Baldi bypass in Karnal city. The Karnal Municipal Corporation has constructed a gate in the area but some of its lights are missing. The authorities concerned should look into the matter. — Anonymous

Drain overflowing at Apollo Chowk

IT hasn’t rained since a fortnight in Narwana yet Apollo Chowk is flooded as far as one can see. Sewage water has been overflowing in the area. It is emitting foul smell and causing hardships to school-going children and other commuters. When contacted, the officials concerned had no satisfactory reply for creating this havoc which is making the lives of people a virtual hell. — Ramesh Gupta, Narwana
