The arrested doctor has been identified as Dr Rajvir Singh and the agent as Ashik Ali, while another agent, Iklash Khan, is at large.

"We had prepared a pregnant woman as a decoy customer. Agent Iklash Khan demanded an amount of Rs 70,000 from her. When she agreed to pay the said amount, she was called to the Nuh bus stand," said Dr Ramesh Chander, Civil Surgeon, Rohtak.

Dr Vishvjeet Rathee, the Nodal Officer for PC and PNDT Act in Rohtak district, said another agent Ashik Ali took the decoy customer from Nuh bus stand to Suraj Ultrasound Centre located at Nalhar Turn in Nuh and got her foetal sex-determination done.
