The Congress got a shot in the arm today as several local BJP leaders/ workers joined the Congress in Delhi in presence of former Chief Minister and leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda, MP Deepender Hooda and MLA Bharat Bhushan Batra.
“BJP education cell district president Dinesh Mudgil and BJP Yuva Morcha’s senior district vice-president Ankur Sharma are the office-bearers who joined the Congress after quitting the BJP. Besides them, Ankur Sharma, Gagan Chawla, Naresh Chawla, Kamal Chauhan from Kripal Nagar, Ayush Kaushik from Janta Colony, Harish Sharma from Shastri Nagar, Joginder Mudgil from Chhotu Ram Nagar, Sonu Kaushik from Kripal Nagar, Deepak Parashar from Azadgarh along with many others also joined the Congress today,” Batra claimed in a press note issued here.The MLA said all sections of society were fed up with ‘misgovernance’ of the BJP and were eagerly waiting for October 1 to oust it from power.
“The political atmosphere of Haryana has changed completely. The BJP’s politics of lies has been exposed. Instead of developing Haryana in 10 years, the BJP government has caused huge losses to the state. All leaders and workers who quit the BJP and joined the Congress today will be given due respect,” Batra said. Deepender said the people had shown that the Congress would form the government in the state.
