A Law graduate from Delhi University, Kanchan hailing from Sirsa town has got 35th rank in the Civil Services examination.

Daughter of a chartered accountant Anil Singhla, Kanchan has aspired to become an IAS officer since her school days.

She has started preparing for the Civil Services during her final-year of the law degree in Delhi. This is her second attempt as she has been selected in the Railway Personnel Services in her first attempt last year.

Kanchan has completed her initial schooling from Sirsa and then went to Panchkula to where she completed her matriculation and 10+2.

She pursued law after schooling and completed her LLB from the National Law University, Delhi.

Kanchan said peace of mind and hard work are the key to her success in the examination.
