Haryana Lokhit Party supremo and Sirsa MLA Gopal Kanda today held discussions with Dharmendra Pradhan, BJP’s election incharge for Haryana, in Delhi. They deliberated on the upcoming Assembly elections, with Kanda suggesting cooperation on several seats under the HLP-NDA pact.
Following the meeting, Kanda handed over his party’s wish list to Pradhan. Speaking to reporters, Kanda emphasised that the Haryana Lokhit Party is a part of the NDA in the state and discussions centred around strategy for the upcoming polls. They also discussed potential constituencies and the possibility of joint contests, especially where HLP and BJP can collaborate effectively.
Kanda noted that their combined efforts on certain seats could yield distinct electoral outcomes, highlighting the strategic significance of their alliance. When asked about Independent MLA Nayanpal Rawat, he said so far, there hasn’t been any withdrawal of support from Rawat’s end, acknowledging everyone’s individual perspectives in such matters.
