Namo Drone Didi, Sirsa’s proud daughter Vimla Sinwar, was honoured with the Shakti Award at a women empowerment event held in Delhi on Thursday. She was the only woman from Haryana to be part of this national-level event, which saw participation from women across states like Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Haryana, along with several women celebrities.

Vimla Sinwar, who has previously been honoured by the Prime Minister for her work in drone technology, received the award from Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.

Vimla shared that she earned Rs 3.5 lakh using drones, which not only made her self-reliant but also created employment opportunities. She encouraged women to take full advantage of the government schemes meant for them and build a better future.

“Women are full of talent. They just need the right guidance and encouragement. No work is small, only our thinking makes it so. If we think big and stay positive, nothing is impossible,” she said during the event.

Vimla added that such programmes inspired women to work harder and contribute to the country’s development. She called on women to believe in themselves and take every opportunity to grow, saying, “Dream big, work hard, and success will follow.”
