SKM condoles death of farm activist

The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) has expressed grief over the death of Major Khan, an ex-serviceman and farm activist. Khan, who belonged to Jhandi village of Patiala district, passed away on Monday.
In a joint statement, SKM leaders, Balbir Singh Rajewal, Dr Darshan Pal, Gurnam Singh Charuni, Hannan Mollah, Jagjit Singh Dallewal, Joginder Singh Ugrahan, Yudhvir Singh, Yogendra Yadav and, Abhimanyu Kohar, said Khan was actively involved in the mobilisation of farmers. “Major Khan was an invaluable asset to the movement. He had been camping at Singhu since November 26,” they added.
