SKM flays assault on BJP MLA

Sonepat: The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) on Saturday condemned the incident of assault on BJP MLA in Malaut, Punjab. Darshan Pal Singh, a member of the SKM, through a press release, said it was a matter of regret that an elected representative was treated this way. The farmers protested against the BJP MLA from Abohar in Malaut of Muktsar district in Punjab on Saturday, he said. “We do not encourage such behaviour and condemn this act,” he added. — TNS
