According to available information, Munish Nagpal, Secretary of the HSEB, led by Rakesh Kumar, conducted an inspection at an examination center at the Government Girls Senior Secondary School in Shamri village in Gohana.

Meanwhile, the flying squad received a tip about individuals involved in creating cheat sheets at a house near the examination center.

Acting on this information, the team raided the house and discovered a notebook containing a seating plan for students, including their names, roll numbers, and question paper set codes.

The center superintendent confirmed the seating plan and stated that the set code found in the notebook was the same as the one given to students on that day.

The board team contacted the police on the spot and filed a written complaint with the Gohana Sadar police, handing over all seven individuals, their mobile phones, and the notebook to the police.

Rishikant, ACP Gohana, said that a case was registered against the seven individuals, including Amit, Jugal, Mohit, Arun, and three women, based on the complaint filed by the board's flying squad, under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

All seven accused were arrested, the ACP confirmed. According to a press release issued by the HSEB, the board removed three supervisors from the same examination center in Shamri village for negligence in their duties.

The board also removed two more supervisors from a center at the Government Girls High School in Bichpadi village.
