The Sports University of Haryana (SUOH) earned international acclaim at the 15th International Symposium on Computer Science in Sport (IACSS-2025), held from September 12 to 16 in Tokyo, Japan.
Professor Yogesh Chander, Dean of the School of Physical Education and Sports, along with his team — Vinit Kumar, Sagar Dalal and Sanyam Malik — presented two research papers selected for oral presentation at the prestigious event.
The research topics included the use of digital tools in pre-service coaching practices, examined through a case study of SUOH, and the impact of resistance training on physical fitness parameters in Kabaddi and wrestling players.
Professor Chander also chaired a major technical session, which was attended by 140 delegates from 20 countries, showcasing his leadership and expertise on the global academic stage.
