Kalyan encouraged local representatives, including Municipal Council Chairman Happy Luck Gupta and all councillors, to engage with residents on issues such as cleanliness, encroachment and traffic problems. He directed community leaders to share these concerns with various social and religious organisations and involve informed citizens in the process.

Speaker further announced that a detailed plan for the town’s development would soon be prepared in consultation with officials and councillors. “The government can provide funds, but maintaining cleanliness, improving the town’s appearance and ensuring proper civic management requires collective effort,” he said.

The Speaker appeared particularly concerned about the growing traffic congestion in Gharaunda. After witnessing heavy jams, he emphasised the need for coordinated action among civic bodies and community groups to make the town encroachment-free and improve its overall environment.
