During the drive, the MC officials took action against individuals found dumping garbage on roads and in public places, as well as those using banned plastic materials. A total of 50 violators were fined and a penalty of nearly Rs 17,000 recovered from them.

Chief Sanitation Inspector Sudhir Kumar, who led the enforcement team, said the crackdown was carried out in areas, including the Main Market, Railway Station Road, Jhajjar Chowk and Bypass Road. Appealing to the public, he urged citizens not to litter in public places and to support the administration in maintaining cleanliness across the city. He added that strict action would continue to be taken against those who were found violating cleanliness norms or using prohibited single-use plastic. “Please do not throw garbage in the open. Cooperate with the administration to keep Rewari clean and hygienic,” he appealed to the people.
