Chandigarh, May 14
The Haryana Government has decided that on May 15, wheat of those farmers whose produce is still in the mandis will be procured. No new loaded vehicles of crops will be allowed to enter the market.
Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said some farmer organisations had requested that some farmers were still keeping their wheat in the mandis with arhtiyas without getting the gate pass. In such a situation, agreeing to their demand, the state government has decided that on May 15, the farmers can come to the mandis themselves and get their wheat procured. — TNS
