Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has directed officials to expedite the establishment of labour courts at Palwal, Rewari, Sonepat, Jhajjar and Bawal to ensure speedy resolution of labour-related disputes.
Chairing a review meeting on the progress of the 2025-26 budget announcements here, he said establishing labour courts would ensure timely justice for millions of workers and strengthen transparency within the industrial sector.
He also directed officials to prioritise the construction of the proposed ESI hospitals at Sonepat and Karnal. He said the hospitals would provide modern and improved healthcare facilities to workers, industrial areas, and nearby residents.
He was informed that the construction of the hospitals was progressing well. At Bawal, it was 86% complete; at Panchkula, 97%; and at Bahadurgarh, 96%.

Tender system & rural works
The CM has directed officers to make departmental functioning more transparent and public-oriented. He said whenever a tender related to development works in rural areas was issued on the Haryana Engineering Works portal, the information should be shared with the sarpanches concerned through SMS. This would ensure that rural representatives received timely and accurate information about development works. The portal would also provide tender information to the public to enhance transparency.
The CM also directed the officers to ensure timely completion of all schemes aimed at strengthening infrastructure in rural areas. He said the government aimed to concretise the 'kutcha phirnis' of villages with a population of over 1,000 to provide smooth movement for people.
Saini said to increase participation of women and provide them a suitable place for meetings and other activities, the government was constructing ‘mahila chaupals’ in every village. In the first phase, 754 villages had been identified. The construction of 480 such 'chaupals’ had been completed.
It was informed that under the first phase in rural areas, 994 e-libraries had been renovated and furnished. Books and computers would soon be made available in these libraries. Besides this, 415 indoor gyms had been set up so far in rural areas across the state.
