Haryana: Sreenivas is Chief Electoral Officer

A Sreenivas, Secretary, Energy Department, and Managing Director, Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited, has been appointed Chief Electoral Officer, Haryana, and Commissioner and Secretary, Election Department, relieving Pankaj Aggarwal of the charge. An order in this regard was issued by the Chief Secretary Office today.

Sreenivas, who is the 2004-batch IAS officer of Haryana cadre, replaces Pankaj Aggarwal, a 2000-batch officer. Aggarwal had a tenure of less than a year as the Chief Electoral Officer.
