Haryana has completed more than 10,450 paperless property registrations in the first 21 days of November, with the state’s digital land-registry platform setting a new single-day record of 1,659 registrations today.
Financial Commissioner, Revenue and Disaster Management, Dr Sumita Misra, described the progress as “a transformation, not merely digitisation,” noting that upgraded software and streamlined workflows have strengthened the system.
Between November 1 and 21, citizens booked 9,365 online appointments, taking the cumulative total to 10,450 since the launch of the paperless system. During this period, 8,338 deeds were approved, raising the total number of approved deeds to 9,260. Misra said the system is now processing nearly 1,500 deeds a day, and the single-day high of 1,659 shows improved capacity and stability.
She said officer-side functions have also been enhanced. Tehsildars can now revert tokens directly, khewat and village blocking has been enabled, and appointments are smoother across districts. The portal now reflects deed verification accurately on both RC and Sub-Registrar dashboards.
Issues linked to stamp duty calculation, token deduction and document flow have been resolved. Tokens will no longer trigger a Rs 503 deduction until fully validated, safeguarding citizens.
Misra added that feedback from registrars and staff continues to shape improvements, including simplifying the second page of the interface to ease user experience.
