Chandigarh, February 2
The High-Level Committee on Urban Planning, under the aegis of the Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry, in collaboration with the state’s Department of Town and Country Planning is organising ‘Urban Planning Conclave’ from February 5-6 here.
An official said the conclave’s main objective will be to facilitate a comprehensive dialogue and knowledge-sharing platform among stakeholders, shedding light on the state-specific initiatives and policies of Haryana concerning urban planning, transit-oriented development, affordable housing and other urban development issues.
The official said over 100 bureaucrats and technocrats from the central and state governments, speakers from the High-Level Committee, NITI Aayog, academic institutions were expected to attend the conclave that would be inaugurated by Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal.
