State to run special campaign under ‘Swachh Haryana Mission'
The Haryana Government is going to run a special campaign under the ‘Swachh Haryana Mission’ for institutionalising 'swachhata' and minimising pendency in government offices.
Haryana Chief Secretary Vivek Joshi has written a letter to all administrative secretaries, chief administrators of boards/corporations and divisional and deputy commissioners wherein guidelines have been issued to carry out activities under the campaign as preparatory phase up to December 31. The district/field offices, PSUs and autonomous organisations have been directed to nominate nodal officers in each of their campaign offices. They have been asked to mobilise officials and ground functionaries for the campaign.
Further, they have been told to assess the volume of redundant materials to be disposed of and finalise the procedures for their disposal through e-auction along with ensuring disposal of scrap material.
The office space management planning and recording management as per the record retention schedule issued by the administrative reforms section of the Haryana Government has also to be ensured by the respective administrative secretaries, the letter added.
