Chandigarh, January 16
A day before the start of the Jan Sandesh Yatra, state Congress incharge Deepak Babaria asked fellow Congressmen to stay away from any programme other than the Ghar-Ghar Congress, Har Ghar Congress campaign.
The anti-Hooda camp, led by former Union minister Kumari Selja, Congress general secretary Randeep Surjewala and former state minister Kiran Choudhry, will launch the Jan Sandesh Yatra from Hisar tomorrow.
Issuing a statement today, Babaria urged his colleagues to stay away from any other programme so that it would not create any confusion between workers and the media. Going against the party line and insubordination to leadership would not be tolerated, he said. “It not only strengthens Congress’ adversaries but also creates indiscipline. We all know that we have to bear the brunt of all forms of indiscipline,” he said.
His message was circulated through a WhatsApp group managed by the Congress media incharge.
Babaria added, “Friends, commitment to ideology, speaking in one tone and dedication to the organisation is our real strength. I am sure the Congress would fight unitedly.”
