Chandigarh, February 21

Stepping up attack on the Congress over its various acts of omission and commission during its 10-year rule, CM Manohar Lal Khattar today alleged that a “bharti rok gang” (stop recruitment gang) was trying to derail the government’s “mission merit”.

While his government had rolled out plans to declare the results of over 29,000 government jobs purely on merit basis in the next eight days, efforts were being made to disrupt the recruitment drives by vested interests.

Listing achievements of his government, the CM said Haryana was power surplus as it had procured cheap power from other states even without augmenting the capacity of its thermal plants.

Haryana had the highest per capita GST, which had provided job opportunities to youth.
