Stray cattle and dogs have become a nuisance in the city these days. Packs of dogs and herds of cattle have become a major threat to residents and commuters, especially the elderly and children. The civic body has failed to check the rising population of canines in the city. The authorities should address these concerns at the earliest to ensure that sanitation is maintained and the security of residents is not compromised.

Improper disposal of garbage adds to woes

Garbage is not being properly disposed of in the city. On several occasions, the garbage is set on fire instead of disposing it of in a scientific manner. Stray cattle can be seen feeding on trash at several locations. In the process of finding food, the cattle spread the garbage as well. The government and administration must pay some attention towards the sanitation condition.
