Fancy streetlights, commonly known as the ‘Tiranga Lights’, which were installed with much fanfare along roads in Narwana last fortnight, are often switched on during daytime — a sheer wastage of energy and money. Recarpet damaged roads in Yamunanagar colony
Roads in the Yamunanagar-Jagadhri Railway Colony have been in a poor condition for long. The road leading to DAV High School is in an especially poor state. Rohtak grapples with simian menace
Rohtak is presently reeling under the simian menace, with residents complaining about monkeys entering their houses, attacking them and damaging their properties. Despite the problem having been brought to the notice of the authorities concerned many a time, no action has been taken in this regard. The officials must look into the matter and ensure that the monkeys are rounded up at the earliest.
