The Haryana Government has increased the cadre strength of the Haryana Civil Services (Executive) to 307 from the existing 300.
According to an order issued by Haryana Chief Secretary, the cadre strength has been increased to 307 as per the Haryana Civil Services (Executive Branch) Rule, 2008, for a period of three years.
While 227 posts have been earmarked for general administration, 50 posts will be treated as deputation reserve. Besides, 10 posts each will be earmarked as leave reserve and training reserve and to be made available for unforeseen demands. The effective strength of the HCS is currently pegged at 246. —TNS
