Student killed, several hurt as roadways bus overturns in Hisar

A student lost his life and several passengers suffered injuries after a Haryana Roadways bus met with an accident in Hisar today.

Driver lost control over the vehicle while trying to avoid an uprooted tree near Rajli village on the Hisar-Rajli road. Khushi Mohammad (20), a resident of Rajli village, died on the spot. Four girl students suffered serious injuries and were rushed to the hospital.

At the time of the incident, there were 65 passengers onboard, with most being the students. Villagers from nearby areas rushed to the spot and helped in pulling people out of the bus.
