Gurugram, January 16
In a bid to encourage the artistic talent of school students, the Gurugram administration, along with local arts society, Kalagram, has enlisted them for the beautification of public areas.
A corner of the Mini Secretariat complex received a vibrant makeover. Developed with community participation, modern art adorns the corner, which now has seating arrangements for visitors. “We witnessed the great talent of students involved in this project, and will now take it city wide. The students will give our dull and mundane public places, especially in old Gurugram, a makeover,” said Deputy Commissioner Nishant Yadav.
The administration plans to place ‘best-of-waste’ sculptures made by students would in roundabouts and parks of the city.
