The complainant, a woman, reported her husband, brother and two daughters had been named in an FIR for fraud. A team led by Inspector Dr Nanhi Devi was formed to conduct a raid. They arrested Yashpal at Rajiv Chowk, where he was caught accepting the bribe.

A senior ACB officer confirmed a case had been filed against Yashpal under the Prevention of Corruption Act at the Gurugram ACB police station. “The accused is currently being questioned and further investigation is ongoing,” the officer said.
