Under the National Food Security and Nutrition Mission (coarse grains), the state government will provide subsidies to farmers for barley seed distribution, demonstration plots and plant and soil conservation management in seven districts of the state.
These district are Panchkula, Rohtak, Bhiwani, Sirsa, Hisar, Jhajjar, and Charkhi Dadri. Interested farmers can visit the website of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare at https:// agriharyana.gov.in/ and complete the online application process.
An official spokesperson said farmers could submit their applications as per their crop sowing timelines. For more information, farmers may contact the office of the Agriculture Development Officer, Block Agriculture Officer, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer, or Deputy Director of Agriculture in their respective areas.
The spokesperson said similarly farmers Ambala, Bhiwani, Hisar, Jhajjar, Mewat, Palwal, Charkhi Dadri, and Rohtak districts will receive subsidies for wheat demonstration plots, seed distribution, and plant and soil conservation management.
