Based on the victim's complaint, an FIR was registered against the accused at the Mukerian police station on July 27.

The crime branch of the local police have arrested a person for supplying illicit arms, including seven country-made pistols and some knives to an accused here.

According to DCP (crime) Hemendra Kumar Meena, the arrested was identified as Prem Pal, and was remanded in judicial custody.
