Task force formed to execute new criminal laws in Karnal
The Haryana Government has constituted a task force for a pilot project aimed at the implementation of three new criminal laws in Karnal district.
As per an order issued by the Administration of Justice Department, the task force will be chaired by Home Department Secretary Geeta Bharti.
Other key members of the task force include Nikita Khattar (State Crime Records Bureau Officer), Radhika Singh (Joint Secretary, Administration, Justice Department), Madan Lal (Additional Director, Prosecution), Rajesh Bhardwaj (Deputy Director, State Crime Records Bureau), Arvind Hooda (Deputy Director, Forensic Science Laboratory), Romil Lamba (Deputy District Attorney, National Law Commission Cell, Panchkula) and Lakhbir Singh (Superintendent, District Jail, Karnal).
Additionally, members of the Karnal district administration, including the Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, District Attorney and Superintendent of District Jail will support the pilot project.
For the training programme, Deepak Bansal from the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Haryana has been designated as the Nodal Officer, working in coordination with Shashikant Sharma from the NIC, Government of India.
