Kin suspect murder

  • The victim’s father said he received a call from a girl, stating that Saurav had died after falling from the seventh floor of the building, following an accident around midnight.
  • However, he claimed that the victim had injury marks only on his neck and that his son had been murdered.
  • He has demanded that a case of murder be registered against the suspects, and their immediate arrest.

In a complaint lodged with the police, Bijender, who hails from Janoli village of Palwal district, stated that his son Saurav, who was working with a private clinic in Sector 12 here, had gone with his friends —Sapna and two youths who were both identified as Vivek — to a residential society in Sector 77 last evening.

The complainant said he received a call from a girl that Saurav had died after falling from the seventh floor of the building, following an accident around midnight.

Claiming that the victim had injury marks only on his neck, he said, “My son had been murdered as the circumstances do not suggest death due to falling from a high-rise building.”

Suspecting the involvement of three friends or any other persons present with the victim at the time of the incident, the complainant asserted that a case of murder should be registered against the suspects, and they should be arrested immediately.

The deceased’s father said the family would not take the body after the postmortem until an FIR was registered against persons, who were allegedly responsible for his son’s death.

An official said the police had launched a probe into the matter and would take appropriate action as per the law.
