Teen on drive in Aravallis raped, 2 held

A 16-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped by two persons at Kasan in the Aravalli foothills when she went on a drive with her friend. The miscreants were arrested and sent to judicial custody.

According to the victim who is a native of Bihar and working in a private firm at Manesar, she along with her friend had gone to the temple in Kasan where the duo spotted her.

“They thrashed my male friend, abducted me and took me to the forest where they raped me and fled away. My friend raised the alarm and managed to reach the police in time. They combed the area and caught them,” the victim alleged.

The police said that the incident was reported from Kasan late on Tuesday evening.

The accused have been identified as Shravan Kumar (35), a resident of Kasan village, and Nitesh (30) from Madhubani in Bihar. An FIR for gangrape has been registered at women police station, Manesar. — OC
