The shop, located in the Kath Mandi area, is owned by Rajesh of grain market in Bahadurgarh. He deals in wholesale ghee and oil. According to Rajesh, he closed the shop around 7pm on Sunday and returned the next morning only to find the shutter lock broken and the glass door inside also forced open.

“The counter was ransacked, and the cash drawer, which had Rs 3.5 lakh, was empty. That’s when I informed the police,” said Rajesh.
