The police arrested three individuals on Monday night while they were plotting a robbery on the Sohna road. A country-made pistol with a cartridge, two motorcycles, an iron rod and a torch were seized from their possession.

The arrested suspects were identified as Tushar Sharma from Agra, Ashish from Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) and Sajjan from Muzaffarpur (Bihar). The trio was apprehended by the Sohna Crime Unit near the Country Inn Hotel in Bhondsi on the Sohna road.

During questioning, the accused admitted to having committed three other thefts in Gurugram. Tushar and Ashish also have individual cases of snatching registered against them here. A police spokesperson confirmed that further interrogation is ongoing.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
