Three booked for carjacking, looting architect

The police have booked three persons for carjacking and looting an architect here on Friday. No arrest has been made so far.
In his complaint, Shekhar Tyagi of Greater Noida in UP said the incident took place when he went to Hodal to meet a customer who had contacted him on the pretext of getting a house designed. When Tyagi reached near the designated spot, three youths kidnapped and carjacked him at gunpoint.
One of the suspects took control of the steering wheel as the victim was pushed to the rear seat. He alleged the suspects snatched his mobile phone and wallet and started thrashing him. However, Tyagi managed to jump of the moving car near a brick kiln, where some workers rescued him. The police have registered a case against the unidentified persons under relevent sections of the IPC, an officer said.
