The university had to cancel its exam of ‘Padartha Vigyan’, following the report of the paper leak just four hours before the exam on January 16, 2020. The bureau has booked a former computer operator, a former water carrier and a student.

The case was registered on the complaint of Sub-Inspector Subey Singh. As per the complaint, there were allegations that the paper was leaked and sold to students for Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000. The university authorities had cancelled the first-year paper, but no police complaint was made and just a committee was formed at the university level to investigate the matter just to hush it up.

He contacted his neighbour, a clerk at the office of District Ayurvedic Officer, Hisar, who had worked as water carrier in the university from 2008 to 2019. The clerk assured the student that his acquaintance was posted as a computer operator at the university and he would arrange the exam papers through him. The question paper of all subjects were given to the student saying that he could make the payment later.

As per the complaint, the student again contacted the clerk after the paper got leaked and the latter assured him that he need not worry as other papers were yet to be conducted. He asked the student to send the money. The student sent Rs 10,000 through his friend’s Paytm account.
