Three Rohtak residents booked on murder charge
Three persons have been booked for murder. The suspects were identified as Bijender, Goldy and Sonu, all residents of Rohtak district.
In a complaint to the police, Anshu stated that she had a dispute with her husband Bijender ever since she married him in 2018. She added that she rented a room in Damla village of Yamunanagar district two months ago and started working in a plywood factory here.
She told the police that her relative Ajit Kumar Bharti, whom she liked, had been living with her. “My husband Bijender, along with his friends Goldy and Sonu, came to Damla on the night on July 21. He beat me up and forced me to go with him to his village in Rohtak,” the complainant told the police.
She said in the meantime, Ajit came there following which her husband and his friends started assaulting him with sticks, while alleging that he had ruined their family. She added that Ajit died during treatment at the Civil Hospital, Yamunanagar. A case has been registered against Bijender and his two friends under Sections 103 (1), 115 and 3 (5) of the BNS.
