Three-day youth festival kicks off at Bhiwani university

The seventh Youth Festival ‘Utkarsh–2025’ was inaugurated at Choudhary Bansi Lal University (CBLU), Bhiwani, today. The three-day event, from November 21 to 23, features participation from students of various departments showcasing their creativity, skills and cultural diversity.

The MLA of Bawani Khera, Kapur Balmiki, attended as the chief guest. In his address, he encouraged students to contribute towards building a self-reliant India and appreciated the university’s efforts in this direction. He assured that all necessary facilities for student welfare would be ensured at the university. He also appealed to students to use swadeshi products, stating that maximising their use “will help achieve the goal of a Developed India by 2047”.

Presiding over the event, Vice-Chancellor Prof Deepti Dharmani said entrepreneurs should emerge from every household in India and that the university is committed to providing all necessary training and platforms for this purpose. “Not drugs, but innovation—the youth of our country will lead the world,” she said. She further appealed to young people to adopt swadeshi to help achieve the goal of Developed India 2047.
