Three youths injured in police firing in Rohtak

Three youths were injured in an encounter with the police on the outskirts of Rohtak city on Monday night. The injured youths have been admitted to the PGIMS.
Rohtak ASP YVR Sashi Shekhar said a police team signalled three youths on a motorcycle to stop. “The youths sped away after firing at the police personnel. During chase, one of them fell from the bike and got injured. The other two youths received bullet injuries,” said the ASP.

The accused have been identified as Azad and Pushpender of Rajasthan and Ayush of Balambha village in Rohtak district. They were allegedly involved in a case wherein a trader was looted. Pushpender has four other cases registered against him in Rajasthan.
A case has been registered against the youths under Sections 132, 221, 109(1) and 3(5) of the BNS.
