Three nabbed for caretaker's murder in Gurugram

The localpolice have claimed to have solved the blind murder of a caretaker and arrested three accused, including the brother-in-law of the deceased. The main accused (brother-in-law) identified as Surjeet, alias Bittu, confessed that he had killed the deceased for allegedly troubling and torturing his sister. The police have produced all three in a city court and have taken them on two-day police remand.

According to the police, a man was found murdered in a room of the house on plot No. 687, Sector 15 (part-II), Gurugram, on July 27 and was identified as Bhura (35), a native of Teekamgarh district in Madhya Pradesh. He was a caretaker of this house and was also working as a gardener in nearby houses. On the complaint of his brother, an FIR was registered and the police have begun investigation

During the interrogation, they revealed that Surjit and Rohit were auto drivers and Karan worked with them as a cleaner. Surjit’s sister got married to deceased Bhura recently on July 14 and Bhura allegedly harassed her. He was requested many times not to harass the sister but he did not change his behaviour. “So Surjeet, alias Bittu, along with his accomplices planned to kill Bhura. According to the plan, on the night of July 26, all three went to Bhura’s house and assaulted him and stabbed him to death. We have taken them on two-day police remand and a probe is underway, ” said the ACP, crime.
