Three students booked for paper leak; two supervisors relieved of duty

The Haryana Board of School Education reported 36 cases of unfair means in the matriculation (academic/open school) mathematics exam conducted today. Additionally, three students were booked for leaking the question paper and two examination supervisors were relieved of duty for negligence.

Board secretary Ajay Chopra said flying squads, led by the Board chairman, inspected exam centres in Charkhi Dadri, while others conducted surprise visits in Jhajjar and Sonepat.

A major violation was reported at Govt Senior Secondary School, Dawla-01 (Jhajjar), where the mathematics paper was leaked by some students. The Bhiwani control room directed the district flying squad to intervene, leading to a student being caught red-handed and an FIR was lodged. Examination supervisor Preeti Rani was relieved from her duties for failing to prevent the malpractice.

Similarly, at Govt Senior Secondary School, Punhana-03 (Nuh), two students were caught in another paper leak case and FIRs were registered against them. The supervising teacher, Mamta, was also removed from duty.

In another instance, a large crowd was noticed outside Govt Senior Secondary School, Sehlang (Mahendragarh). Authorities intervened to prevent any disruptions in future exams.
