An awareness rally on environmental pollution was organised recently by the NCC unit of Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa.

The event was held under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Narsi Ram Bishnoi, and under the guidance of Col Gyan Prakash Pandey, Commanding Officer of the 3 Haryana Girls Battalion, NCC, Hisar.

During the rally, cadets raised slogans to spread awareness about environmental pollution and encouraged people to take action.

The main objective of the rally was to raise awareness about environmental pollution and inspire people to protect the environment.

The rally featured various activities — including poster-making, slogan-writing, essay-writing, speech and slogan competitions.

To promote environmental protection, cadets cleaned the Herbal Park at the university.

The rally was attended by NCC Caretaker Rachna Ahlawat and NCC Instructor Miss Sonika.

Ahlawat emphasised the importance of environmental preservation, stating that pollution was a serious issue, and its solution was rooted in collective effort.

She urged cadets to take significant steps towards environmental protection.
