To honour the courage and valour of the Indian Armed Forces displayed during Operation Sindoor, and to strengthen the spirit of nationalism among the public, a Tiranga Yatra was organised in Kaithal on Saturday. The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from people from various social and religious organisations, as well as the general public.

The yatra was flagged off by Kurukshetra MP Naveen Jindal from the Geeta Bhavan Mandir and passed through Committee Chowk, Shaheed Smarak, Pehowa Chowk, and other key areas of the city. The roads of Kaithal echoed with chants of “Hindustan Zindabad” and “Bharatiya Sena Zindabad”, along with patriotic songs, as flower petals rained down on the procession. MP Jindal himself led the march on horseback, paying tribute to the bravery of the armed forces.

Addressing the gathering, MP Naveen Jindal said that Operation Sindoor is not just a military success but a historic moment for justice and national pride. “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, the Indian Army executed Operation Sindoor with unmatched courage, discipline, and dedication," he said.

He emphasised that the operation has delivered justice to the sisters and daughters whose husbands were killed in a terror attack in Pahalgam. “This is more than a yatra — it's a pledge to uphold our national duty, and today we walk this path with full determination," Jindal added. He thanked everyone for their participation.

BJP district president Jyoti Saini said that the success of Operation Sindoor has amplified India’s strength and resolve on the global stage. “Tiranga Yatras are being organised across the state to strengthen the spirit of patriotism,” she said.

Senior BJP leader Ashok Gurjar said, “Operation Sindoor represents the pride, valour, and resolve of 'New India'.” The yatra concluded with a tribute to martyrs at the Shaheed Smarak.
