Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today said the traditional works will play a crucial role in achieving the target of making India a developed nation by 2047.
The Chief Minister, while addressing the state-level function held in Ladwa, on the occasion of Saint Sen Bhagat Jayanti, said saints and gurus are the heritage of society, and the government has been making efforts to preserve and propagate their teachings.
The CM also announced several developmental projects aimed at accelerating development in the Ladwa Assembly Constituency.
He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for six projects worth Rs 16.50 crore.
In his address, the CM highlighted various initiatives and public welfare schemes and policies of the Central and state government and said, “Following the teachings of the saints, the government has launched various public welfare schemes. The Prime Minister has set a target to make India a developed nation by 2047, and I appeal to you to take forward our traditional works, as it will play a crucial role in achieving the target. For the uplift of society, it is necessary to provide it with modern education, for which the state government has been making continuous efforts”.
The CM announced that an educational institution in the state will be named after Saint Sen Bhagat. He further announced the upgrade of the Ladwa Community Health Centre from a 30-bed to a 50-bed Sub-Divisional Hospital-cum-Community Health Centre, along with the establishment of a Government College at Ramshran Majra in Babain.
The Chief Minister announced Rs 5 crore for strengthening village phirnis and another Rs 5 crore for development works in the villages of the constituency. He also announced that an HSVP sector would be developed in Ladwa, subject to land availability. Sewerage lines will be laid in Pipli, Bir Pipli and nearby residential colonies at an estimated cost of Rs 22.47 crore.
He also announced the construction of a Community Centre on Indri Road, Ladwa. A total of 23 development works will be carried out in the Ladwa Municipal Committee area as per the approved list. He also announced the construction of a PWD Rest House, an Ambedkar Bhawan, and a new office building for the Municipal Committee in Ladwa.
The Chief Minister said upon receiving an application from the institution for establishing a hostel in Hisar in the name of Sant Sen Bhagat, a plot will be allotted as per rules. He said the request made regarding a 27 per cent (16 + 11) reservation relaxation for Backward Classes A and B posts in the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam will be examined by the concerned department.
The Chief Minister announced a donation of Rs 51 lakh, while Ministers Ranbir Gangwa, Krishna Bedi, and Shyam Singh Rana, who were also present, announced donations of Rs 11 lakh each.
