Traffic advisory for PM's Panipat visit on Monday

The district police have issued a special traffic advisory for the residents as well as commuters due to PM Narendra Modi’s visit here on Monday. The PM will launch a ‘Bima Sakhi’ scheme of LIC for empowering women .

SP Lokender Singh said the traffic had been diverted for the people and even the residents of Sectors 13/17, Ansal and adjoining areas.

The gate number 1, 2, 3 of Ansal would be closed, and the residents can go out by using Gate number 4 on Barsat Road side only. The residents of Bichpadi can use the Ansal’s Gate number 4. The residents of Sectors 13/17 can use only the Radha Swami Satsang Bhawan Road. The residents of sector 18 have to use the HSVP office road.

The residents of Sectors 13/17, 18, Eldeco and Ansal, who want to go to Panipat or Delhi they can use elevated highway. No bus of Haryana Roadways will be stopped at the toll plaza. Special parking arrangements have been made, including a VIP parking, for 1,000 vehicles near the venue. SP Lokender Singh said 13 SPs, 40 DSPs, over 1,000 inspectors and 3,500 police personnel have been deployed for the PM’s event. As many as 58 nakas have been laid of which 38 nakas have been set up near the programme venue and 20 in the outer areas. — TNS
