State Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda on Tuesday said India will again become a Vishwa Guru by taking inspiration from the National flag, which awakens the spirit of patriotism.He was addressing a gathering on the occasion of National Flag Adoption Day, organised by the Flag Foundation of India in Kurukshetra.

The Education Minister said, “The word Tricolour not only awakens the spirit of patriotism, unity and sacrifice, but it also has a glorious saga. Countless people sacrificed their lives and realised the dream of Independence. After a long struggle, on July 22, 1947, the Tricolour was adopted as the National flag of India. The day is commemorated and celebrated across the country and this day is an opportunity for every Indian to understand the importance of the Tricolour.”

Mahipal Dhanda praised Kurukshetra MP Naveen Jindal for his efforts that enabled all Indians to display the National flag with honour and pride at their homes and offices on all days of the year.

He said, “The government has been organising various events like Har Ghar Tiranga Yatra with the only objective to connect every citizen of the country with the National flag. Inspired by the feeling of patriotism evoked by the National flag, India will once again become a world leader. India will make its identity as a developed nation by the year 2047.”

Professor Atul Yadav shared detailed information about the National Flag Adoption Day and said that due to the efforts of Naveen Jindal, after 10 years of hard struggle, every person got the right to hoist the Tricolour in his house.

Kurukshetra BJP district president Tejender Singh, Municipal Council chairperson Mafee Dhanda and several BJP leaders were present on the occasion.
