Kurukshetra MP Naveen Jindal on Friday said the tricolour inspires everyone to work for the country’s development, and make it a developed nation by 2047.

He was addressing a gathering on the occasion of the district-level Run for Unity programme organised at Dronacharya Sports Stadium on Friday to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

In his address, the MP said inspired by the tricolour, one could fulfil the dreams of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Earlier, Jindal, former Minister of State Subhash Sudha, Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar Meena, and BJP District President Tejender Singh Goldy paid tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Jindal flagged off the Run for Unity.

The MP administered the oath of national unity and called on the participants to dedicate themselves to maintaining unity, integrity, and security of the nation and strive to spread this message among all countrymen.

MP Naveen Jindal said, “Today, in Kurukshetra, we pay homage to the Iron Man, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The credit for unifying the country goes to Sardar Patel, who united more than 560 princely states. Today, the Run for Unity is being organised to draw inspiration from his life. Its purpose is to demonstrate unity under this tricolour, regardless of party, caste, or religion.”
