Tricolour symbol of unity: Agri Minister

Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Kanwar Pal said the Tricolour was the symbol of unity in the country and the Tiranga Yatras being organised in the country would further promote patriotism among the people.

The minister flagged off a mini-marathon from the War Heroes Memorial Stadium, organised by the Sports Department, in Ambala Cantonment. A large number of people participated in the mini-marathon and it concluded back at the stadium after covering Vijay Rattan Chowk, Jagadhri Road and Agarsen Dwar. He said, “The Tricolour is a symbol of unity in the country. Tiranga Yatra will work to instill the feeling of patriotism in every citizen of the country and give the message of unity in integrity.” — TNS
